The Beginner Sewing Workshop is a practical skills-development program for Muslim women aged 16 and above, offering a welcoming environment for sisters who are new to sewing. Participants will learn how to confidently operate a sewing machine and develop basic skills for making simple clothing alterations. Held at the Perth Ummah Centre in Queens Park , the three-hour workshop also provides an opportunity for sisters to learn a useful practical skill while connecting with others in the community. Participants may bring their own sewing machine or arrange a machine through the organizers.
