Irving is noted for its racial and ethnic diversity, and has been ranked as one of the most diverse cities in the United States VRIC provides several services including, but not limited to, five daily prayers, Friday prayer, study groups (halaqas), Ramadan programs (taraweeh and weekend iftars), weekday and weekend Qur’anic school, and a medical clinic.
