Islamic Society of Central Virginia (ISCV) is a nonprofit Islamic organization serving the Charlottesville Muslim community and residents of surrounding counties. The organization operates the Charlottesville Masjid, providing a central place for daily worship, Friday prayers, Ramadan and Eid activities, Islamic education, community gatherings, and social support. Its current three-floor, approximately 13,500-square-foot masjid includes a prayer area, classrooms, multipurpose space, and library facilities. ISCV also maintains a strong educational and community-service focus through Dar-ul-Huda Sunday School, Arabic and Qur’an programs, youth tutoring, Scouts, preschool/daycare, Halaqahs, outreach activities, and financial assistance through its Zakah program. The organization welcomes visitors and conducts activities intended to improve understanding between the Muslim community and the wider Charlottesville community.
