At-Takaful Islamic Society, also known as the Islamic Center of Chicago (ICC), was established in 1987 to serve the cause of Allah and support the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Muslim community in the greater Chicago area. The Society operates as a not-for-profit Islamic organization guided by Islamic Shurah (consultative decision-making) and its by-laws to ensure transparent, community-focused leadership.
