Religious Services
Masjid Al-Hoda is a community-centered mosque dedicated to serving Muslims in Kingston and throughout Southern Rhode Island. Beginning as a small congregation at the University of Rhode Island in 1999, the organization has developed into a permanent community hub offering daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Islamic education, Halaqas, Ramadan and Eid programs, and opportunities for fellowship. In addition to religious services, Masjid Al-Hoda emphasizes education, community building, charitable support, and outreach. Its programs include Sunday Islamic School for children, Qur'an and Islamic studies, community gatherings, Zakat and food assistance, and resources for those interested in learning about or embracing Islam. The mosque's stated goal is to serve the Southern Rhode Island Muslim community while building positive relationships and greater understanding with its neighbors.
